iOS8과 요세미티가 한달의 격차를 두고 나온다는 예측. iOS8은 9월, 요세미티는 10월 출시 예정.

기사에선 두 운영체제가 가진 연속성을 지적하면서 “왜 애플이 이런 기회를 걷어차는 걸까”라고 했지만 이유는 단 하나, 요세미티의 개발 기간이 오래 걸리는 것 같다. 애플은 룩앤필이 바 뀌면 단순히 디자인이나 아이콘이 바뀌는 수준의 문제가 아니라 UX 설계부터 꽤 저 레벨의 보이지 않는 부분까지도 다시 설계하는 느낌이다. 아마 10.10도 지금까지 OSX가 겪었던 변화보다 더 큰 변화가 있을 것 같다.
